We are looking for a Data Engineer who wants to be at the forefront of AI integration. You won't just be building standard pipelines. You will be designing an AI native data platform within Snowflake, building scalable pipelines, AI enriched datasets and reusable data products that enable in database LLM, vector and semantic workflows.

The opportunity
We are looking for a Data Engineer who wants to be at the forefront of AI integration. You won't just be building standard pipelines. You will be designing an AI native data platform within Snowflake, building scalable pipelines, AI enriched datasets and reusable data products that enable in database LLM, vector and semantic workflows.
What you will be doing
- AI native engineering: design and build scalable pipelines and AI applications using Snowflake native AI capabilities (Snowpark, Cortex).
- In database AI: enable LLM, vector and semantic workflows directly within the data platform.
- Architecture and modelling: design and optimise data models for analytical and AI workloads, contributing to Data Vault and common data models.
- Data quality for AI: prepare governed, high quality data for machine learning and advanced analytics.
- Collaboration: partner with AI engineers and technology teams to bring Snowflake hosted intelligence into core applications.
- Observability and best practice: implement AI observability and monitoring, and use AI assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to evolve engineering standards.
- Deep experience with Snowflake, SQL, dbt and Python.
- Hands on experience with Snowpark and AI enabled workflows within a data platform.
- Exposure to LLM, vector, embedding or semantic use cases.
- A strong background in scalable data modelling (Data Vault, common data models or dimensional).
- A solid understanding of data for machine learning, feature engineering and production ML workflows.
- The ability to turn complex business needs into practical data and AI solutions.
- $160K to $175K base + super + 12.5% bonus.
